The first solar-powered water system has been installed at the Cambine Mission. The Mozambique Initiative sponsored a borehole and water tank. A team of German missionaries installed the solar panels and then full-time missionaries Renate and Claus Härtner were able to connect the rest of the system.

The Cambine Mission has struggled with a shortage of funds in past years, which has been made worse amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This new solar-powered water system allows for safe water at an affordable cost.

Renate and Claus Härtner are incredibly thankful, “We are so very happy and deeply grateful and want to say ‘thank you’ to you and all the partners, who are involved into this enhancement of water supply!
